You will require the following when you opt for a self-drive rental. A valid driving license of the client/driver, the passport of the client/driver, and a security deposit. 

GhanaMoto only requires foreign clients who choose the self-drive service to present their valid International driver’s license. It must be noted that one of the requirements of comprehensive insurance cover on our vehicles is that non-Ghanaian clients should possess a valid international driving license while driving.

Yes, all our vehicles are equipped with state-of-the-art GPS devices that enable us to monitor them anywhere in Ghana.

Our mileage charge only applies to out of town trips regardless of whether you choose a self-drive or chauffeur driven service.

The client should immediately inform our Reservations Coordinator who will ensure the necessary arrangements are made to handle the situation.

 

 

No, you cannot cross borders with a self – drive vehicle. All cross-border travel services are provided by our experienced chauffeurs.

No, fuel is the responsibility of the client. All vehicles come with a full tank of fuel and should be returned with a full tank of fuel.
